The Walker County Sheriff's Office Volunteer Program is under the supervision of Patrol Sergeants. We are always looking for Walker County citizens who have an interest in volunteering their time for the community. A list of requirements can be found below. Requirements

• Good People Skills

• Wear Approved Uniform (Provided)

• Attend Monthly Meetings

• Have at least 2 patrol members per vehicle

• Volunteer at least 16 hours per quarter

• Maintain a Positive Attitude

• Enjoy Your Time

• Present a Professional Appearance At All Times

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older

• Good Moral Character

• Good Driving Record

• No Felony Convictions

• Current U.S. Citizen

• Possess Valid Driver's License
