Professional Profile
Stephanie is a December 1993 graduate of Sam Houston State University with a BA in Music and minor in Computer Science. She started her career as a telecommunications operator in June, 1994 with the Walker Co. SO after encouragement from friends and family. She decided to expand her knowledge of telecommunications by becoming a telecommunicator with the Huntsville PD in December 1996. Stephanie was amongst those that were the group that became the employees of the now Walker County Public Safety Communications Center. In December of 2001 Stephanie showed her abilities as a communications operator and took on the validation process of all TCIC/NCIC entries made by the center. In August of 2005 she went on to become a trainer for the communications center, teaching new employees the various duties that are required of all employees. In May of 2007 Stephanie became an associate trainer for TCIC and continues to teach classes to those needing TCIC access. She continues to use her music degree while teaching private flute lessons in the Montgomery County area since December 1994 and playing in the Conroe Symphony Orchestra since it's beginning in May of 1997.
