IT Technician I - Temporary
The Walker County Information Technology Department has an opening for a temporary IT Technician I position. Pay for the temporary position has a max of $23/hour and depends on qualifications and experience. Termination date of the temporary position is set for Sept. 30, 2025.
Position Summary: The objective of the temporary IT Technician I position is to assist the IT Department with servicing the informational, technical, communications and data processing needs of Walker County. Tasks will include setup, maintain and troubleshoot end-user desktops/laptops, network, VoIP phone system and computer hardware and software, provide maintenance, evaluate, research, document and make repairs/upgrades as needed in a timely and efficient manner. This position performs other duties to be determined and assigned as needed.
