Basic Conditions of Community Supervision for Offenders

Basic Conditions of Community Supervision for offenders placed on community supervision by the District Courts of Walker, Grimes, Madison, and Leon Counties:

(1) Commit no offense against the laws of this State or of any other State or of the United States;

(2) Avoid injurious or vicious habits;

(3) Avoid persons or places of disreputable or harmful character;

(4) Report in person on a monthly basis to the supervision officer as directed by the judge or supervision officer and obey all rules and regulations of the community supervision and corrections department;

(5) Permit the supervision officer to visit you at your home or elsewhere;

(6) Work faithfully at suitable employment as far as possible;

(7) Support your dependents;

(8) Do not possess a firearm;

(9) Abstain from the use of alcohol or controlled substance, except by written prescription of a medical doctor, and do not go upon the premises of a bar, saloon or tavern;

(10) Submit to testing for alcohol or controlled substances and pay the fee charged for such testing;

(11) Remain within (specified) County, Texas unless given written permission to leave by the judge or community supervision officer;
