How we Provide for an Emergency Situation
The Walker County CPS Board works closely with state children's protective services case workers and investigators to provide both emergency assistance through the resources of the local CPS Board's RAINBOW ROOM as well as ongoing support for both children and caregivers in the foster care program. The RAINBOW ROOM is located in the Huntsville CPS office suite on south Hwy 75 and is stocked with items from clothing and shoes (for infants to teens) and personal care items from diapers to teddy bears.
