
Conditions of Probation
Basic Conditions of Community Supervision for offenders placed on community supervision by the District Courts of Walker, Grimes, Madison, and Leon Counties include but are not limited to:
Commit no offense against the laws of this State or of any other State or of the United States;
- Avoid injurious or vicious habits;
- Avoid persons or places of disreputable or harmful character;
Report in person on a monthly basis to the supervision officer as directed by the judge or supervision officer and obey all rules and regulations of the community supervision and corrections department;
- Permit the supervision officer to visit you at your home or elsewhere;
- Work faithfully at suitable employment as far as possible;
Support your dependents;
Do not possess a firearm;- Abstain from the use of alcohol or controlled substance, except by written prescription of a medical doctor, and do not go upon the premises of a bar, saloon or tavern;
- Submit to testing for alcohol or controlled substances and pay the fee charged for such testing;
- Remain within (specified) County, Texas unless given written permission to leave by the judge or community supervision officer;
The above are typical standard conditions of probation and may include special conditions as ordered by the Court. The Court has the authority to modify conditions of probation through the probation term.
