Deputy Specialist III (Extended Title: Election Specialist) in the Voter Registration/Elections Department.
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs a variety of functions relative to the day to day operation of the Voter Registration/Elections Department in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, the United States of America, and the policies set forth by the Tax Assessor-Collector of Walker County. Provides friendly, efficient, and timely front-line customer service to the public. Responsible for ensuring the voter registration and the voting/election processes maintain a high level of professional election standards in order to earn and preserve public confidence in the electoral process. Performs other duties to be determined and assigned as needed.
Starting Salary $48,000
